she loves walking in the park every morning. it is a green sprawling patch at the edge of the small town. the footpath borders a lake, a playground, several work-out stations.
the undulating nature of the land makes brisk walking fun besides enjoying the luxuriant trees and shrubs. there were angsana, neem, mempisang, acacia, bungor, peacock flower trees. there were hedges of red ixora sunkist, orange lantana camara, white spider lilies, pink hibiscus, phyllantus, purple rhio discolor, cactuses.
after a shower the leaves sparkle in their green freshness. the flaccid emerald lake soothes the senses. excited birds fly from tree to tree singing merrily.
she is always captivated by the various shapes of the leaves, so beautifully and perfectly arranged on stalks and branches. enchanting.
